HYDROFLEX SOLUTION has established a formidable reputation as a trusted manufacturer, trader, and supplier of heavy-duty industrial fluid handling components. Engineered for peak efficiency, resilience, and maximum lifespan, the comprehensive flow control lineup seamlessly caters to municipal networks, high-pressure hydraulic equipment, oil and gas distribution, water treatment plants, and diverse industrial processes.
Among the core structural solutions, Hydroflex Solution manufactures an extensive range of high-performance Butterfly Valves. Known for their compact engineering, low-weight characteristics, and efficient quarter-turn mechanism, these valves outpace conventional options like ball valves in space-saving design and flow optimization.
To accommodate diverse pressures, thermal variations, and corrosive mediums, Hydroflex butterfly valves are categorized into specialized configurations:
The spatial layout and pipeline installation needs dictate the structural design of the outer valve body:
Wafer Type: The most compact and economical design. The wafer butterfly valve sits directly sandwiched between two standard pipe flanges, relying on the clamping force of elongated system bolts. It is optimized for structural space savings.
Lug Type: Features raised, threaded metal lugs protruding around the circumference of the valve body. Unlike wafer styles, the lugs allow the valve to be bolted directly to each pipe flange independently. This mechanical advantage allows for dead-end service, where downstream piping can be safely removed while the upstream system remains pressurized.
Flanged Type: Utilizes integral flanges built directly onto both sides of the valve casing, commonly matching standard industrial drillings. This is typically reserved for large-diameter pipelines and critical heavy-water or industrial distribution loops.
Material compatibility prevents premature wear and chemical cavitation under extreme pressure thresholds:
Stainless Steel (SS) Disc: Typically molded from robust SS304 or marine-grade SS316 steel. Ideal for aggressive chemical applications, hygienic processes, sanitization lines, and environments exposed to high moisture or variable temperatures.
Ductile Iron (DI) Disc: Highly reliable for general utility lines, HVAC, and civil water distribution. Ductile iron provides the ideal balance of tensile strength, fatigue resistance, and affordability. It is often coated with protective layers to counter early oxidation.
Lever/Handle Operated: Ideal for smaller size configurations where prompt manual operation is necessary. The lockable level handle gives immediate visibility into the open or closed profile of the inner disc.
Gear Operated: Leverages an enclosed worm-gear mechanism equipped with a manual handwheel. The gear reducer multiplies human force, allowing operators to smoothly modulate large-diameter, high-pressure valves safely while mitigating the danger of sudden water hammer shocks.
Optimized Flow Efficiency: The streamlined profile of the disc reduces pressure drop across the line and significantly minimizes cavitation compared to conventional shut-off valves.
Zero-Leakage Sealing: Engineered with precision elastomer seats (such as EPDM, NBR, or high-performance PTFE) that provide bubble-tight insulation under standard and high-pressure ratings.
Space & Weight Constraints: Hydroflex butterfly valves boast a dramatically shorter face-to-face installation profile and lower raw weight than alternative configurations, reducing overall structural pipeline loads.
Built for Durability: Coated with corrosion-resistant finishes to preserve long-term operational health, ensuring trouble-free maintenance windows even in unforgiving atmospheric elements.
